The YouView mobile app will then be removed from the App Store and Google Play. BT are be opening up the remote record functionality within the BT TV app for all* YouView users by the end of March. This means that users will be able to book recordings remotely to their YouView box using the BT TV app even if they do not have a BT TV subscription.

The satellite tuners will work (DVB-S/2) - EPG only has Now/Next though as its not a Freesat TV; You will loose the ITV Hub and All4 catchup TV apps . Work-arounds. If having YouView disabled and you still wish to use ITV Hub and All4 Catchup apps, then you can: Cast via a smart phone or tablet
